Spain Day at Natolin

On Saturday, 20 November 2021, the Spanish students of the College of Europe in Natolin organised a generous cultural programme for all the students on campus.

The programme included several activities such as Catalan and Spanish slang workshops, a flamenco dance class, as well as an art exhibition in the Włodkovic residence showcasing grand works of Spanish artists such as Velázquez and Goya and the work of different Spanish poets. Spanish food was served throughout the day at the Natolin Restaurant, including a cava from Extremadura and different Spanish wines.

During the evening, the Natolin students welcomed the Consul of Spain, H.E. Mr Eduardo Ramón Merino de MENA who addressed the ties between Poland and Spain and the importance of culture in diplomacy. The high-level event was followed by a flamenco performance of the Warsaw-based group "Los Payos". The evening ended with a wine tasting with wines from Málaga, offered by the Junta de Andalucía.
