The programme is focused on:

  • Defining and understanding the Digital Single Market as well as its growing importance on the EU agenda;
  • Analysing how traditional competition law tools and instruments can apply to the specificities of the Digital environment: antitrust and dominance, distribution, mergers;
  • Providing an overview of the latest developments that are specific to the Digital Single Market strategy: algorithm-enabled cartels, abuse of dominance in high tech markets, distribution in the digital age and antitrust issues related to standard essential patents;
  • Examining the latest cases - each module includes not only an advanced analysis of the topic but a practical approach with case studies.
