Emiliano ALESSANDRI

Emiliano Alessandri is a Senior External Co-operation Officer with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) since 2016, a Senior Transatlantic Fellow with the German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMFUS) since 2012, a scholar with the Middle East Institute (MEI) since 2019, and a Research Associate with the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP) since 2017. He is also a Scientific Board Member of the NATO Defense College Foundation, Advisory Board Member of the US-Italy Global Affairs Forum and Editorial Board Member of The International Spectator.

He holds a Ph.D (2010) in International History from Cambridge University, and an M.A. (2005) in American Foreign Policy and International Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University.

Fields of interests: Transatlantic relations; American foreign policy; European security; Middle East and Mediterranean affairs; Turkey.

Author of numerous essays and articles and frequent commentator on international media.
