Maja PAVLIN
- Project Assistant, European Diplomatic Academy – Pilot Programme
Maja Pavlin is Slovenian and joined the College of Europe Executive Education, Training and Projects Office in May 2022 and the Pilot Programme for the European Diplomatic Academy in November 2022, as a Project Assistant.
Prior to joining the College, she worked in diplomacy as a Protocol Officer during the Slovenian Presidency to the Council of the EU (2021-2022), where she was in charge of the implementation of the work visits at Ministerial and Presidential levels in Brussels and Luxembourg. Before that she worked in the Dean’s office at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana (2020-2021), and did two years of traineeships at the European Union Intellectual Office (EUIPO) in Spain and at the European Patent Office (EPO) in Munich (2017-2019). She has experience with the implementation of trainings in the field of Intellectual Property and has also worked as a language teacher.
Maja holds a Master’s Degree in Sociology and Italian Language from the University of Ljubljana. Her fields of interest are Slovenian-Italian bilateral relations, diplomatic protocol, and education.
