The Bruges Library has recently implemented OCLC’s WorldShare Management Services, a next generation library system to manage both electronic and print collections.
The new catalogue, with extensive filter possibilities and enrichment content (as book covers, TOCs, abstracts), provides improved access to more digitally available scientific literature - all within a single search interface. Students and staff are now able to search the College’s significant collection on European subjects including print books, e-books, scholarly journals and articles, newspaper articles, theses and more. WorldCat Discovery also allows to explore the resources of other libraries in Europe and worldwide.
