The Department of European Political and Administrative Studies and the Department of European Economic Studies are pleased to announce that a conference, “Exiting the Global Financial Crisis: European and National Strategies” took place on 4-5 March 2010.
Co-sponsored by the Departments of European and Administrative Studies and European Economic Studies, this conference examined the consequences of the global financial crisis on Europe, how to transition from the crisis period to post-crisis period, and how to devise strategies to avoid a new crisis.
Discussions were not limited to macroeconomic and financial issues but also broader questions of institutional competences, national and European politics, and how the crisis has impacted other policies.
