Job Vacancy – Communications Assistant at the College of Europe,Natolin campus (Warsaw)

The College of Europe is seeking applications for the position of full-time Communications Assistant with a starting date of 1 Dec 2014.

 

Objective:

To support the Communications Service (Natolin Campus) and Head of Communications in a range of Communications Tasks

 

We are looking for graduates with:

  • a Master’s degree;

  • excellent knowledge of English, French, other languages an asset;

  • computer literacy, very good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, other IT skills would be welcome;

  • familiar with social media outlets;

  • evidence of highly attuned organisation skills;

  • a track record of performing under pressure;

  • ability to work autonomously and as a team member;

  • high sense of responsibility and initiative;

  • attention to detail;

  • experience of work in multi-cultural environments;

  • personable with professional presentation and excellent verbal and written communications skills to interact with a variety of individuals/organisations;

  • knowledge of the countries covered by the European Neighbourhood Policy;

  • interest in the objectives of the College.

Tasks include:

  • supporting the Head of Communications in external representation of the College of Europe;

  • assist in copy writing for marketing materials, as needed;

  • assist in the preparation of news releases, media materials, newsletter stories, social media stories etc.;

  • conduct research, as needed;

  • supporting the Head of Communications in internal communications;

  • collaborating with other services and employees.
