European Centre for Government Transformation – Site Visits

In October, 16 students of the European Political and Administrative Studies Department were selected to take part in the European Centre for Government Transformation (ECGT) Project – a partnership between the College of Europe, the Lisbon Council and Accenture – which allows students to train with Accenture consultants on public sector case studies for a period of six months. The four teams of four students will go on site visits to meet their clients for two days, between 12 and 21 November 2014:

  • In Barcelona (Spain) on a micro-distribution in macro-blocks (transport) case study;
  • In Paris (France) on a circular economy-related project;
  • In Groningen (the Netherlands) on a Smart users City project ;
  • In Espoo (Finland) on a PublicAppLab project.

The site visit, one of the highlights of the ECGT project, is an opportunity for the students to discover their case studies on the ground, giving them a clear idea of the issues at stake. They will meet with a wide range of stakeholders of their respective project, gain practical knowledge about their case study, and  share innovative methods, ideas and solutions with their clients.
