International Conference "Theorizing the European Neighbourhood Policy"

On 17-18 September 2015, the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the College of Europe, Bruges campus organized an international conference on “Theorizing the European Neighbourhood Policy”. The conference aimed to contribute to the further development of EU external relations theory by explaining the origins, development and (in)effectiveness of the ENP from various perspectives. It also strived to explain the role played by international actors other than the EU.  The Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes HAHN, delivered the keynote address.
