Successful College of Europe team at LIMUN

From 27 February to 1 March 2015, an international team of 10 students of the EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies Department of the College of Europe participated in the 16th edition of the London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) simulation, the largest annual university-based MUN conference in Europe. The College of Europe students represented the EU member states France, Poland and Austria, in the name of which they negotiated and drafted resolutions on topics ranging from piracy in the Gulf of Guinea, through the construction of a European Energy Union and natural resource management to the reduction of diabetes.
The delegates’ performance was very strong, inter alia winning individual delegate awards: for Andrea CHIARELLO (UNEP, best position paper), Rannvá CLEMENTSEN (UNEP, best delegate), Nils Erik LINDNER OLSSON (UNSC, distinguished delegate) and Jean-Sébastien MARRE (European Council, distinguished delegate). Together with the other members of the team (Enika BUSHI, Enric SOL BRINES GOMEZ, Maryna IAROSHEVYCH, Michaela ŠIMAKOVA, Kaspar MEYER and Emma RODRIGUEZ MONTES), the delegation of the College of Europe thus demonstrated its academic expertise and made a remarkable impression.
To all of them, congratulations!
