Timely publications by Dr Dimitris BOURIS on the EU's role in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Dr Dimitris BOURIS, Research Fellow at the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe, published a paper with the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace (Middle East Center) entitled "Riding Shotgun: The EU’s role in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict".

The article argues that in the long term, the EU has managed to keep alive – even if only on life support – a diplomatic process based on a two-state solution. The full article can be accessed here.

Moreover, Dr Dimitris BOURIS was invited to be the guest author of the month for the Middle East Monitor. His article, entitled "Peace should be enforced before negotiated: It’s time for a paradigm shift in EU policies towards the Israel-Palestine conflict", argues that the negotiations paradigm that the international community has led for decades now appears to be blocked and a fresh approach is needed with regard to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
