Project Renewed — Methodological and Knowledge Sharing Support for EU External Interventions

Since May 2019, the College of Europe has been a member of the consortium, led by Ecorys Nederland B.V., that was awarded the EU-funded contract "Methodological and Knowledge Sharing Support for EU External Interventions". This one-year project has now been extended for another year (i.e. until April 2021).

The project’s overall objective is to provide support and technical assistance to the DG DEVCO of the European Commission, in order to improve the quality, coherence and effectiveness of EU interventions in international cooperation through increased knowledge, reinforced capacities, enhanced working methodologies and skills of EU staff in Headquarters and Delegations.

In the first year of the project, the College of Europe provided expertise in policy dialogue training courses, in EU project management methodologies, and in knowledge sharing.

In this new year, we look forward to exploring further online learning methods and tools as the project responds to the challenges posed by travel restrictions and health measures on face-to-face training.
