Workshop on “EU-China Relations in a Globalised World”

On 26 October 2012, the  InBev-Baillet Latour Chair for EU-China Relations at the College of Europe in Bruges and the King’s College in London, co-organised a one-day workshop on “EU-China Relations in a Globalised World”. The workshop gathered experts and scholars from academia and research institutes as well as policy-makers.

The workshop, hosted by Professor Jing MEN, Chairholder of the InBev-Baillet Latour Chair for EU-China Relations, and Dr. Ramon PACHECO-PARDO, was very well received by the participants who engaged in a lively debate. Three panels were organised to discuss in detail the following topics: “EU-China bilateral relations”; “the EU, China and multilateral governance”; “the EU, China and the world”.

The speeches are summarised in accordance with the order of presentation in the Fifth Issue of the EU-China Observer.
