Job Vacancy – Academic Assistant for the European Energy Policy Chair of the College of Europe / Collège d’Europe (50%)

We are looking for graduates, preferably candidates with College of Europe experience, with:

  • Master’s degree in political science, law, economics, with a strong background in European studies,
  • strong interest in European and International Energy Policy,
  • very good academic grades, equivalent to an overall average of at least 15/20 at the College of Europe,
  • very good command of English and French,
  • ability to work as part of a team,
  • an interest in teaching and research,
  • good organisational skills

Tasks include:

  • assisting the Chair holder, Prof. Dr. Dirk Buschle in his courses,
  • giving tutorials, assisting in the supervision of MA theses, providing academic advice to students,
  • carrying out research on energy issues under the supervision of Prof. Buschle,
  • organising conferences and study trips,
  • working with the Student Energy Group and the Alumni Energy Group
