Alexandros Politis is a Senior Academic Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges, European Legal Studies Department. He is also a qualified lawyer (Athens Bar Association) with practical experience in cases before the EU courts, the European Commission and the European Court of Human Rights. He is a founding board member of the European Law Masters Alumni Association (ELMAA) of the Law School of Athens and Head Organiser of its yearly summer school on European Business Law in Corfu island. He has been a student assistant at the Law School of Athens coaching its teams for EU Law moot court competitions and has completed an internship at the European Commission.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Law School of Athens (2015) and an LL.M. in European Union Law from the College of Europe (2017-2018, Simone Veil Promotion).
Main fields of interest: EU Tax Law, EU Competition Law, EU Constitutional Law and EU Administrative Law.
