Alexandros POLITIS

Alexandros Politis is an Academic Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges, European Legal Studies Department. He is also a qualified lawyer (Athens Bar Association) with practical experience on EU Law cases before the EU courts and the European Commission. On top of these, he is a founding board member of the European Law Masters Alumni Association (ELMAA) of the Law School of Athens and Head Organiser of its yearly summer school on European Business Law. He has been a student assistant at the Law School of Athens coaching its teams in EU Law moot court competitions. He has also completed an internship at the European Commission.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Law from the Law School of Athens (2015) and an LL.M. in European Union Law from the College of Europe (2017-2018, Simone Veil Promotion).  

Main fields of interest: EU Tax Law, EU Competition Law, EU Constitutional Law and EU Administrative Law.
