Anahita Sabouri (BE) is Academic Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges since August 2018.
Anahita holds an MA in European Studies from Saint-Louis University – Brussels, an MA in International Law from the Université libre de Bruxelles as well as an MA in Political Sciences and in International Relations (Diplomacy and Conflict Resolution) from UCLouvain.
Her previous work experience includes research and teaching assistant positions at Saint-Louis University–Brussels, UCLouvain (Centre for European Studies) and the Université libre de Bruxelles. Moreover, she has worked at the United Nations Regional Information Centre for Western Europe (UNRIC) in Brussels, as well as at two Fedasil (Federal agency for the reception of asylum seekers) centres.
Fields of interest: international and European law, human rights (law), minority rights, refugee rights, EU migration and asylum policies and law, development policies, humanitarian aid, International Humanitarian Law, conflict resolution, and security policies.
