Dr habil Florian P. Kühn is Associate Professor of International Relations and focuses on international security, interventionism and state-society relations. He has published widely, in International Relations, Peacebuilding, Third World Quarterly, and Canadian Journal of International Relations, among others. He is co-editor of the Journal of Intervention and Statebuilding and has broad research experience in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Palestine as well as European capitals. Currently, he works on a book with the preliminary title Ambiguity and Peace, exploring the ontological and epistemic drivers of peace/conflict dynamics. Most recently, he has published Risikopolitik - Ein Lehrbuch (2017, in German) and co-edited (with Mandy Turner) The Politics of International Intervention: The Tyranny of Peace (2016).
