Helene Banner is a political communication expert and Keynote Speaker with 10 years work experience at the European Commission. She was the German speechwriter of European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and worked in President-elect Ursula von der Leyen’s team to prepare her candidate’s speech at the European Parliament in July 2019. She previously worked as spokesperson and press officer for two European Commissioners before heading the communications team at the Berlin Representation of the European Commission.
In 2020 Helene founded her own business project, „Let‘s Just Be Imperfect, Ladies“. As a Leadership Keynote Speaker, Workshop host and Women Confidence Mentor, she supports women in leadership roles to find their authentic, feminine leadership style and she advises organisations on how they can create a more open, transparent and diverse work culture at their top level.
Helene holds an MSc from the European Institute of the London School of Economics (LSE) and a Double-Diploma in Political Science and Communications of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Lille and the Westphalian Wilhelm University of Münster.
