Jonathan Schnock (DE) joined the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy Studies as an Academic Assistant in August 2021.

He holds an MA in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe (2019-2020), an MA in International Relations from the Technical University Dresden (2017-2019), and a BA in European Studies from the University of Osnabrück. Over the course of his studies, he carried out exchanges to Lund University, Sweden (2018), and the University of Victoria, Canada (2016).

Jonathan completed a Schuman traineeship at the European Parliament’s Policy Unit for the Committee for International Trade (2020) where he focused on the economic ramifications of the Trade and Cooperation Agreement between the EU and the UK as well as trade and sustainable development chapters in trade negotiations. Prior to this, he gathered experience in the Finance Committee of the German Bundestag as an intern (2017).
