Juliette Dupont is the Academic Assistant for the MATA program since August 2021. In parallel, Juliette is completing a PhD in political science at Université de Montréal (Canada) comparing Schengen visa policy implementation by European consulates in China and in Algeria.
Academic background: PhD in political science at Université de Montréal (2022-expected), Honor’s Master in political science of the European Union at Sciences Po Grenoble (2016), Master degree in International and European affairs at Sciences Po Lille (2015).
Professional experience: lecturer in International Studies department at Université de Montréal (2021), project manager for an Erasmus+ Jean Monnet network (2017-2020), policy advisor in French Senate (2015).
Fields of interests: Migration policies, Border control, International Relations, European Integration, European diplomacy, Globalization, Comparative politics, Street level bureaucracy, Qualitative and Fieldwork methods.
