Klaus Dodds is a political geographer and Professor of Geopolitics at Royal Holloway University of London and a Director of Research for the School of Life Sciences and Environment. His research focusses on critical and popular geopolitics, and includes topics such as border conflict, information wars, and the role of culture in shaping the geopolitical imaginaries of citizens. He is editor of the Territory Politics Governance, and his latest book is Border Wars (London: Penguin/Ebury 2021). Beyond the academy, Klaus has served as a specialist adviser to the Houses of Parliament, worked with UK government departments, NATO and non-governmental organizations in areas such as environmental security, polar geopolitics and ocean conservation. He is a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences (UK).
