Laure Neumayer is Assistant Professor in Political Science at University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne and a member of the Centre européen de sociologie et de science politique (CESSP). She is also a Junior Member of the Institut Universitaire de France.

Laure Neumayer holds a Master’s Degree from Sciences Po in Paris (1995) and from the College of Europe (1996). She received her PhD from Science Po in 2002. Her current research focuses on European-level remembrance policies and she recently co-edited (with G. Mink) History, memory and politics in Central and Eastern Europe – Memory Games (Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).

She also published several books and articles on the Europeanization of political competition, including L’européanisation des pays d’Europe centrale : l’enjeu européen dans les transformations postcommunistes, Paris, Belin, 2006 ; (with A.
