Sara HURTEKANT is Belgian and joined the College of Europe Executive Education, Training and Projects Office in July 2017.
Sara manages the Intensive Seminar on the EU and has extensive experience in the design and management of bespoke training programmes all over the globe. She is involved in the implementation of both technical assistance and capacity building projects within and outside of the EU. Her fields of expertise are external and diplomatic representation of the EU, negotiation and public speaking skills and macro-economic governance.
Prior to working for the Executive Education, Training and Projects Office, she worked for the College of Europe International Relations and Diplomacy department as an academic assistant. She holds a Master’s in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin, a Master’s in International Relations from the University of Ghent and a bachelor’s in Political Science from the same university. She speaks English, French and Dutch and has some knowledge of German.
