Teresa DOMINGUEZ-PIEDADE

Teresa Dominguez-Piedade joined the College of Europe in April 2023.

She has five years of professional experience in communication and project management, working with private and public stakeholders on EU affairs. Prior to joining the College of Europe, Teresa managed the implementation of different types of partnerships in a media company based in Brussels, including editorial and multimedia deliverables and policy events. Throughout her career, she has acquired a sound knowledge of project cycle management in corporate and publicly funded projects, media engagement, event management, and training.

At the Executive Education, Training and Projects Office, Teresa manages the EU-funded project “European Resources for Mediation Support (ERMES) III” and other technical assistance contracts, as well as different executive education courses.

She holds a Master’s Degree in European Studies from KU Leuven, with a specialisation in EU-Russia relations, having before that completed her Bachelor’s in International Relations in the University of Lisbon.

Teresa’s native language is Portuguese. She also speaks fluent English, has a good command of Spanish and French, and some knowledge of German.
