Victor LE GRIX

Victor Le Grix (FR) is Academic Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges, Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies, since August 2019.

He holds an MA in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe in Natolin (2016-17), a dual Master’s degree in EU Law and Governance from Mykolas Romeris University and Université Bordeaux IV Montesquieu (2014-16), and a Master’s degree in EU Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (2013-14). He also completed an Erasmus semester at Yeditepe University in Istanbul (fall 2015).

Victor worked for one year in Georgia: as a research intern at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, and as manager of capacity-building and peacebuilding projects with various local NGOs. He is co-founder and president of Closer Europe Institute, a Paris-based think-tank focused on cooperation between the EU and the Eastern Partnership countries. Other previous work experience includes a Blue Book traineeship at the European Commission, and an internship at the Brussels representation of the Economic Development Foundation (IKV).

Fields of interest: ENP and Eastern neighbourhood, South Caucasus, EU enlargement policy, Turkey, conflict resolution and peacebuilding, fundamental rights, European values.
