11th edition of the International Workshop in EU Law & Economics

The Department of Economics of the College of Europe is hosting this year the 11th edition of the International Workshop in EU Law & Economics. 

This Workshop, which gathers scholars from all over the world, is an institutional response to the increasing importance of economic analysis of law. It aims at exploiting Europe’s considerable institutional diversity in order to build a more robust body of theory and empirical evidence. It aims at promoting sustained interactions within the community of law and economics scholars to discuss issues related to the efficiency of EU law and as such, is an important forum for the exchange of research findings and ideas.

7 thematic sessions will take place, related to:

  • Optimal law enforcement
  • Court decisions
  • Dispute resolutions
  • Platforms, algorithms
  • Compliance vs. deterrence
  • Justice, procedures and delays
  • Law, Environment and climate change
