Intensify your knowledge of the EU against the backdrop of an evolving and reshaping Union.

As the EU institutions work on putting together the new legislature, take a moment to fully immerse, advance or boost your knowledge of the EU at the College of Europe. Dive into fascinating, dynamic, and evolving topics while living the ‘esprit du Collège’ where you connect with other inspiring professionals.

Are you ready to embark on a learning journey that significantly enhances your understanding of EU affairs?

The Intensive Seminar on the EU, taking place at the College of Europe in July, will help you better assess the legacy of the current legislature and be ready to closely follow how the new EU priorities might influence Europe in the years to come.

In the stimulating atmosphere of the College of Europe, the seminar offers opportunities for discussions and experience-sharing amongst participants from different backgrounds and profiles, such as embassies, missions, permanent representations, public institutions, private companies, and academic institutions.

The seminar offers three different programmes depending on the needs of the participants, making sure that you can choose the programme that best aligns with your expertise and experience.

  • The Full Immersion’ programme, lasting three weeks (1 - 19 July 2024), is targeted to people who have limited knowledge of European Affairs, as the programme provides a comprehensive analysis of the European Union institutions and policies.

  • For those acquainted with EU-related topics, the ‘Advanced’ programme, lasting two weeks (8-19 July 2024), is a perfect opportunity to dive deeper into EU topics. This programme puts an emphasis on the internal and external policies of the European Union, such as trade, regional development, and EU’s foreign policy.

  • The Booster’ programme, lasting one week (8-12 July 2024), is designed for participants with a good level of experience in the field of European Affairs and who would like to analyse the legacy of the Von der Leyen Commission (2019-2024) as well as looking ahead to the EU as from 2025.
