Charlotte Heymans joined the College of Europe in July 2023.
She has experience working in the fields of Peacebuilding and International Education. Right before joining the College of Europe, she was coordinating a Language Centre.
At the Executive Education, Training, and Projects Office, Charlotte assists Project Managers in the organisation and implementation of training courses, projects, workshops, and events at international level. She mainly focuses on the EU-funded framework contract “Conflict Prevention and Mediation Support” and the “EU Leading the Global Energy Transition” Project, as well as the EU Transport and Railway Affairs (ETCR) and Communicating in an EU-related environment executive courses.
She holds an LLM in International Law from the University of Kent as well as a joint Master’s Degree in International Affairs from the Universidad Externado de Colombia, Columbia University, and Sciences Po.
She speaks fluent French, English, and Spanish, and has basic knowledge of Dutch.
