The student members of the College of Europe Energy Group and the Alumni Association have hosted a networking event titled “CoE Alumni: Masterminds of the Energy Union?” on the 2nd of March 2016.
With the sponsorship of the European Energy Policy Chair and that of KIC Innoenergy, this event has enabled to strengthen the College community with more more than 100 participants from across several promotions gathered at the bureau of EuroACE .
Two keynote speeches have been delivered by renowned Alumni, Mr Manuel SZAPIRO, member of the cabinet of Maros Sefcovic, Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of the Energy Union, and Ms Vera BRENZEL, head of government affairs in E.On.
The College of Europe has been a precious support for the development of the activities of the Energy Group both in the Bruges and Natolin campuses but also in Brussels. We are very much looking forward to continue this close cooperation to mutually promote the expertise of the College of Europe in European energy policy.
