The Department of European Political and Administrative Studies at the College of Europe organized a conference entitled "Europe Today and Tomorrow: Preparing for the Next 25 Years". The conference took place on 13 October 2016 at the College of Europe, Bruges campus.

After an introduction from the Rector Jörg MONAR, the Secretary-General of the European Parliament  Mr Klaus WELLE  gave a keynote speech on his vision of the future of the European Union for the 25 years to come. In a context of Brexit, refugee crises and rising populism, Mr WELLE shared with students and participants the insight of the European Parliament to these challenges and what could be the strategy to adopt in the foreseeable future. The Director of Studies of the European Political and Administrative Studies Department, Professor Olivier COSTA then chaired the debate and opened the floor to the numerous questions of students and participants.
