On 29 March 2017, the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies organised — in cooperation with the College of Europe Environment Alumni Group — a panel discussion on “Interest representation and the EU’s internal and external environmental policies – Perspectives from Brussels”. 

Three alumnae of the College of Europe shared their professional experience related to environmental lobbying:

  • Jessica BROBALD, Prometheus Public Affairs (CoE Alumni Environment Group) — A business perspective;
  • Marjolaine BLONDEAU, Policy Officer, European Environmental Citizens Organisation for Standardisation (ECOS) — An NGO perspective;
  • Inmaculada RINCÓN LIÉVANA, Policy Officer, European Commission, DG ENVI, Unit B1. ‘Sustainable production products and consumption’ — A perspective from the EU institutions.

The panel was chaired by Professor Simon SCHUNZ.
