Study Trip of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy studies to Geneva

From 22-25 February 2016, the students of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies visited Geneva, the European headquarters of the United Nations and home to many other international organizations, think tanks and non-governmental organizations. They enjoyed lectures and participated in debates on various aspects of multilateral diplomacy at the EU Delegation to the United Nations and EU Mission to the World Trade Organization, at the UN, the WTO and the Geneva Internet Platform. Students also had the option to visit CERN, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy or the World Economic Forum. The study trip benefited inter alia from the support of the Swiss Mission to the EU and of Genève internationale. It also included a networking evening with Geneva-based alumni, a guided tour of the Palais des Nations and a visit to the Musée international de la Croix-Rouge et du Croissant-Rouge.
