NOTE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this course will take place in July 2021.

From 29 June to 3 July 2020, the College of Europe will welcome a group of students and faculty members of the Master in Public Administration of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU Trondheim for the third edition of the Summer School on current challenges in the EU. Two similar editions have been successfully organized in 2018 and 2019.

In the unique atmosphere of the College of Europe in Bruges, through working groups, lectures and discussions, the participants will get the opportunity to analyse and strengthen their understanding of the current trends and challenges of the European Union, including domestic social cohesion, cross-border mobility, and the EU’s main responses to new security challenges such as migration and cyber wars.

The programme also includes group work sessions organized after the lectures, to allow participants to further analyse and discuss the main topics from a Norwegian perspective.
