2018 edition of the executive education course "Managing migration in Europe: Challenge and Response"

From 24 to 26 September 2018, the College of Europe will organize the third edition of the executive training course "Managing Migration in Europe: Challenge and Response". Mr Yves PASCOUAU will be again part of the trainers’ team.

Yves PASCOUAU holds a PhD in Law from Pau University (France) on EU migration policy (La politique migratoire de l’Union européenne, LGDJ, Paris, 2011) and is currently researcher at the University of Nantes (France), where he conducts a research on Schengen. He also works closely with the Delors Institute, a Paris-based European think tank. Before taking his position as a researcher in September 2017, Mr PASCOUAU was Director of Migration and Mobility Policies at the Brussels-based think-tank, the European Policy Centre. From 2011 to 2017, he was head of the European Migration and Diversity Programme and focused his work and analysis on EU developments in the fields of immigration, asylum and integration. Prior to its think-tank activities, Mr PASCOUAU worked in France and in Belgium (at the Université Libre de Bruxelles), where he researched and published widely on European and national immigration, asylum and integration policies.

Alongside his research activities, Mr Yves PASCOUAU is the founder and editor of the website and project EuropeanMigrationLaw.eu. The project EuropeanMigrationLaw.eu is a unique website which offers easy and rapid access to EU law, case laws and news in the fields of asylum, immigration and free movement of people. This initiative is highly complementary to the executive training course "Managing Migration in Europe: Challenge and Response" and is thus a unique tool to refer to, before and after the training course!
