On 26 January 2016, Rector Jörg MONAR of the College of Europe and Mr José Antonio VILLASANTE CERRO, Senior Vice-President of Banco Santander and Director of Santander Universidades, signed an extended cooperation agreement between the College of Europe and Santander Universidades.
The Rector declared that “ the continuation and extension of the most fruitful cooperation with Banco Santander will not only each year allow three outstanding students to become experts in European affairs but also enable the College’s European Economic Studies Programme to enhance its academic excellence.”
