Alumni of the Chopin Promotion and the Natolin Community deeply regret the passing of our alumna Dafni NETSIKA

It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the untimely death of our beloved daughter, sister, friend and alumna Dafni NETSIKA (May 15, 2020). Dafni had been battling cancer for the past year. She is survived by her loving mother Maria and her brother Thanos. A funeral service was held on May 16, 2020 to celebrate her loving memory by her family in her hometown, Khalkidhiki, Greece.

Dafni was born August 2, 1987 in Polýgyros, Khalkidhiki, Greece. She attended DFLTI, Ionian University; Lomonosov Moscow State University and College of Europe. Dafni served in various international jobs, including her post with EASO as a Team Leader.

Dafni’s family and friends will miss her unique sense of humor, brilliant mind and kind heart.

In lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Cancer Research UK in the name of Dafni NETSIKA.

Natolin Alumni of the Chopin Promotion (2015-2016)

It is with great sadness that the community of the College of Europe in Natolin has learnt about the passing of our dear alumna Dafni NETSIKA. Dafni was a student at the European Interdisciplinary Studies department during the academic year 2015-2016 (Chopin Promotion).

We join Dafni’s family and the alumni of the Chopin Promotion in their mourning and convey our heartfelt condolences.
