Alumni of the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Promotion and the Natolin Community deeply regret the passing of our alumna Izabella MIER-JĘDRZEJOWICZ

In great sadness we write about the passing on 25 April 2021 of our dearest friend and alumna Izabella MIER-JĘDRZEJOWICZ.

Izabella was born on 29 December 1984 in London, United Kingdom. Of Polish and British nationality, she attended Collegium Civitas in Warsaw where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations followed by a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology obtained from the University of Warsaw. She then attended the College of Europe in Natolin where she graduated with an advanced Master of Arts in European Interdisciplinary Studies.

Izabella loved people, she loved nature and lived her life with passion. She was inspirational and fought to make the world a better place. Thank you, Iza, for having shared with us a year of your precious life at the College of Europe in Natolin. Thank you for your smiles, for your joy, thank you for your energy! As your friends and colleagues, our thoughts are with your family. May you rest in peace.

The funeral mass was celebrated on Friday, 30 April 2021 in the Church of the Sisters of Visitation BMV on Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw, followed by cremation.

Instead of flowers the family suggests a donation to a cause close to Iza's heart supported by Centrum Ochrony Mokradel.
