College of Europe ELMC Team reached the regional final

The representatives of the College of Europe, Zuzanna GULCZYNSKA (applicant), Daniel IRISARRI LOLIN (defendant), Anna DELLA NEGRA (legal counsel) and Raphaël BOUCQUEY (Commission agent), delivered an outstanding performance during the regional finals of the European Law Moot Court Competition in The Hague on 4 and 5 February 2017. The team made it to the highly competitive regional final, held at the Supreme Court of The Netherlands, with an excellent score but failed to proceed further in the competition. Finally, it was the City University of London who won the Final held at the CJEU.

We would like to express our warmest congratulations to Zuzanna, Daniel, Anna and Raphaël!

“Coaching the ELMC team of the College has been an extremely rewarding experience. Academically speaking, it is a very intense experience: working from scratch on the pleadings can be a real challenge!  Apart from the amazing learning experience, the Moot is great fun: as a team, we met students and coaches from Universities all over Europe, had a lot of fun in The Hague and were thrilled to plea at the Supreme Court of The Netherlands! I totally recommend the mooting experience”- Lucía LOPEZ ZURITA, Academic Assistant of the European Legal Studies Department
