The College of Europe Development Office implemented from 27 to 31 May 2019 several courses on the EU in Lima.
Students of the Academia Diplomática Javier Pérez de Cuéllar attended a one-week training programme focusing on the role of the EU and scenarios for its future, the EU foreign policy and how the EU works. Participants then put into practice their knowledge on the EU during a Council negotiation simulation game (EU Model).
In addition, on Tuesday 28 May, a group of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs attended a workshop on the future of the EU.
Finally, on Wednesday 29 May, scholars working on EU-related matters attended a course on the EU as a global actor.
These activities took place in the framework of the EU-funded project "EU Policy and Outreach Partnership – South America" that is managed by the Organization of Ibero-American States.
