Dr Duncan FREEMAN, Research Fellow at the EU-China Research Centre, delivered a paper on "The Belt and Road and Over-Capacity: Trade, Investment, Infrastructure and the Road to (Re)Industrialisation?" at the Seventh Annual Workshop on EU-China/Asia Relations in Global Politics which focused the subject of European and Asian Perspectives on China´s Belt and Road Initiative. The workshop organized by the UACES Collaborative Network on EU-China Relations was held at Nazarbayev University, Astana, Kazakhstan on 24-25 April 2018.
He was also a panelist at the Young Leaders Forum held in conjunction with the workshop on 26 April.
