Euro-Arab Relations: Looking Ahead

The project ‘Training and Information Course on Euro-Arab Diplomacy’, also called ‘El-Hiwar’, has come to an end. The last activity took place at the Maltese Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Valetta, Malta, on 11 may 2017. The event “Euro-Arab Relations: Looking Ahead” gathered eight experts from the European Commission, the European External Action Service, the Secretariat of the League of Arab States and ECLASLO staff for a forward looking focus group in the morning. A public conference was held in the afternoon and brought together over 50 participants.

The El-Hiwar project started in June 2013 and aimed at improving the flow of information and promoting dialogue between the European Union and the League of Arab States. More than 15 activities were implemented and supported in the framework of El-Hiwar, funded by the European Union and implemented by the College of Europe.
