It is with great sadness that the College of Europe has learned about the passing away of its former Rector, Prof. Dr. Gabriel FRAGNIÈRE, who was born in Lausanne in 1934. A philosopher by background and alumnus of the College (Promotion Sully), Rector FRAGNIÈRE contributed substantially to the innovation and expansion of the College during the 1990s.
Mr Thierry MONFORTI, Director of the Academic service will represent the College of Europe at the funeral service on 18 September .
