Ms Kateryna PRYSHCHEPA, Development Projects Officer at the College of Europe in Natolin, recently published a commentary for the magazine New Eastern Europe.
Ms PRYSHCHEPA comments the voluntary opinion poll conducted in Ukraine on the initiative of President Volodymyr ZELENSKYI simultaneously with the local elections on 25 October 2020.
In the commentary, Ms PRYSHCHEPA points to the lack of clear methodology of the poll and the non-proportional presence of interviewers across different regions of Ukraine. This fact and the low voter turnout on 25 October 2020 made the results of the presidential opinion poll unrepresentative for the population.
