On 25 June 2019, Ms Marta WOJAKOWSKA, Head of the Natolin Language Service and French language professor, successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Développer la compétence plurilingue et pluriculturelle en classe de français sur objectifs spécifiques (exemple du français de la diplomatie)”. Dr WOJAKOWSKA’s research was directly related to her work at the College of Europe in Natolin. The thesis explores the idea of integrating an intercultural approach in the teaching/learning process of French for diplomats. The purpose of Dr WOJAKOWSKA’s PhD thesis is to demonstrate that a plurilingual and pluricultural competence deserves special attention in the context of French language teaching for young professionals.
