Natolin students visited the Armenian MFA in Yerevan

On 10 March 2016, a group of Natolin students visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia during their study trip to the South Caucasus. They met with Mr Tigran MKRTCHYAN, Head of the Department of Press, Information and Public Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.

                

Mr MKRTCHYAN presented the priorities and main directions of foreign policy of the country, Armenia’s approaches to the settlement of regional issues and the ways to resolve them. Mr MKRTCHYAN reflected as well on Armenia’s membership in international integration processes, Armenia’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union as well as the cooperation between Armenia and the European Union. He also discussed the negotiation process towards a peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the efforts exerted by Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs in that direction.

          

During the meeting, Mr Tigran MKRTCHYAN answered numerous questions raised by the faculty and students of the Natolin campus of the College of Europe. The official press release by the MFA can be found here.
