On 23-24 May 2016, Professor Tobias SCHUMACHER, Chairholder of the European Neighbourhood Policy Chair at the Natolin (Warsaw) campus of the College of Europe; Dr Madalina DOBRESCU, Junior Research Fellow; and Dr Anna-Sophie MAASS, Post-Doctoral Fellow, participated in the international conference "Europe as a Global Actor", organized by the Center for International Studies at the Lisbon University Institute in Lisbon, Portugal.
Professor SCHUMACHER participated in the opening roundtable, discussing the recent review of the ENP by embedding it in the concept of actorness. Dr DOBRESCU and Dr MAASS participated in a panel on the EU’s neighbourhood and presented a paper on "Political developments in EU-Belarus relations. From isolation to limited cooperation and critical engagement" and "Armenia and Georgia challenge Normative Power Europe", respectively.
