Presentation Skills and Public Speaking training in French and Spanish for ILO

From 16 to 18 November 2020, the Development Office implemented a training course on Presentation Skills and Public Speaking in French for the International Labour Organisation (ILO). The 3-day training course was delivered online with several group exercises and individual presentations. Throughout this very interactive training, participants had the chance to learn the key principles of an effective presentation and tips on how to speak in public. In front of their colleagues, in the e-classroom, participants practised what they learnt, with individual presentations, Q&A sessions and feedback sessions with the group and the trainer.

From 30 November to 2 December, a new online edition of this training course took place, in Spanish, targeting ILO staff in Spain and in Latin America. Just like the French version, this edition also had a high level of interaction, giving the participants the chance to prepare a presentation and share it with the rest of the class, with feedback and Q&A sessions.

Despite the nature of the training, that calls for physical proximity, the online environment proved once again to be successful, with interaction among participants and the trainers.
