Study trip 2019 to Geneva of the EU International Relations and Diplomacy students

Every year in spring, students and academic staff of the Department of EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies take part in an informative study trip to Geneva, Switzerland. Geneva is a hub of multilateral diplomacy, the global humanitarian and human rights capital and home to many important international organisations, think tanks and non-governmental organisations. This study trip, taking place from 4-7 March 2019, is much appreciated by students who strive to have a career in European and international affairs. The College students will visit the EU Delegation to the UN and EU Mission to the WTO, the Palais des Nations European headquarters of the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation, the International Committee of the Red Cross, as well as think tanks like the Geneva Centre for Security Policy. They will be able to hear talks and participate in topical debates such as migration, digital diplomacy or human rights, and will also meet alumni working in Geneva and enjoy a local cheese fondue.
