The College of Europe Development Office was honoured to have been requested to contribute to the design and implementation of a series of events on EU-Uruguay relations which took place in Montevideo during the week of 23 to 27 July 2018:
- A four-day seminar for the Diplomatic Academy of Uruguay – Instituto Artigas del Servicio Exterior which covered topics such as EU trade policy, EU foreign policy and included a specific session on EU Digital Cooperation;
- A Business Club event on EU trade policies;
- An Executive Training for officials and diplomats;
- As well as a training for journalists and press officers.
These activities were delivered in Spanish by senior trainers of the College of Europe. They took place in the framework of the EU-funded project “EU Public Diplomacy in Latin America”, managed and implemented by the Organization of Ibero-American States. The College of Europe Development Office has been involved in this project since 2017 and will be delivering other training programmes in 2019.
