Two Professors awarded for outstanding teaching

On Thursday 19th of May, Professors Pierpaolo SETTEMBRI and Costanza HERMANIN of the Department of European Political and Administrative Studies, won the 2nd Prize for Outstanding Teaching for the Simulation Game they ran this year for the first time at the College of Europe, assisted by Umur AKANSEL and Brice CRISTOFORETTI. The prize is awarded by PADEMIA – a Europe-wide network of 56 academic institutions from 31 countries – to distinguish the work of persons with an outstanding academic record in the field of European integration. The two professors recently shared some thoughts about their experience with the course at the College of Europe in this article. The award (600 euro) will be used to support the activities of MOAS (Migrant Offshore Aid Station), a foundation providing assistance to refugees and migrants in distress at sea.
